The city covers an area of about 600 km: city Ni\u0161, Ni\u0161ka Spa and 68 suburbs. Ni\u0161 is situated at the crossroads of the most important Balkan and European traffic routes. Foreign tourists visit Ni\u0161 even it is not a season and enjoy everything that this Serbian city can offer to them. Due to its turbulent history, Ni\u0161 became a city \u2013 museum, in the true sense of the word. In the National Museum there are so many art pieces of historical inappreciable value, founded in the Archaeological places in this area. The National Theatre in Ni\u0161 has a tradition long more than a century. In the Doll&#8217;s Theatre was first performance in the 1951. The Art Gallery in Ni\u0161 represents city gallery with artistic historical treasures as well as art pieces of modern trends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201e\u0106ele kula\u201c, famous historical monument in Ni\u0161, is an unique monumental tower in whole world and if you want to learn more as well as to better understand Ni\u0161 it is recommended tourist place to visit. Once it wasn&#8217;t belong to the city area but on the main road which leads to Constantinople. The tower was built from the skulls of Serbian soldiers, died in the \u010cegar battle, near Ni\u0161, that was fought on 31st May 1809th. It was built soon after the battle by the orders of the Turkish commander of Ni\u0161 -Hursid Pasha, who was later Grand Vizier.<a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Nis-saborna-crkva.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-373\" title=\"Nis-saborna-crkva\" src=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Nis-saborna-crkva.jpg\" alt=\"Saborna crkva u Ni\u0161u\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201eNi\u0161ka tvrdjava\u201c is fortress representing the oldest and most valuable cultural monuments as well as one of the most recognizable city symbols. It is known that on the place, where the fortress is today, once was a Celts settlement and later on the camp of the Roman legions. The fortress walls with the remains unexplored earlier centuries, make a significant cultural monumental fortress placed under the law protection in May 1948th, and in 1979 the \u201eNi\u0161ka tvrdjava\u201c was declared a cultural heritage of big significance.<\/p>\n<p>There are so many tourist attractions in the suburb of the Ni\u0161.Listen<\/p>\n<p>Read phonetically<\/p>\n<p>First of all, there is Ni\u0161ka spa, tourist resort with healing warm springs, famous even in Roman times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eCerjanska pe\u0107ina\u201c is cave, located near the village Cerije in suburb of Ni\u0161.
