U\u017eice is one of the macro-regional centers in Serbia, the largest city and administrative center of the West Serbia, and with its fantastic location, in the region of Zlatibor<\/a> and Tara<\/a>, U\u017eice can offer so many interesting tourist attractions, making locals proud of their hometown.U\u017eice had become a recognizable brand of Serbia and the Balkans, not only for the famous smoked ham and brandy “Sljivovica”, but for its natural beauty as well.
\n\"\"<\/a>oga dela grada sa\"\"<\/a> You can start sightseeing from the old part of city, from where you will certainly enjoy in beautiful view of U\u017eice. Looking from the top of the walls in the old city part, you\u2019ll see U\u017eice situated in the valley along the river following the course of its streets and buildings. There is also here a City Hall from the 19th century, placed in Slanu\u0161a, under Pe\u0161inovac, former home of Mr. Jokanovi\u0107, which was restored and now it represents a real treasure keeping from the oblivion and remembering to the old U\u017eice with its interior. Carina is a region where it can be found still remains of the U\u017eice from its old times. Among the houses on the Carina built on both sides of the street, some of them, for example Sani\u0107 home, will attract a special attention
\nAt Rakijska market there was once an old building but now it is pleasant restaurant remaining us of the old Serbian architecture. Since the U\u017eice was established there is beautiful fountain at the Slanu\u0161a.
\nAround a small park, in the downtown of U\u017eice, are placed the most important institution: the Municipality building, the Grammar High school in the other side, the Palace hotel, the bank, a new architecture building on the other side of the main street, making together the “forum” of the city. From this small park leads street to the modern urban downtown. The Partizan\u2019s Square is an urban city square which is considered to be a unique architectural place. There are very interesting monuments in U\u017eice as well. At the east, on the Dovarje, there is “Gate of the Torch” and at the west there is Memorial to Kadinja\u010da, Thermopylae of U\u017eice, representing its “western gate”.
\nNatural beauty and capacity of tourist facilities are introduced U\u017eice in popular tourist destinations in the Balkans. Rural tourism in this area was very popular, especially villages from the Municipality Kosjeri\u0107 and Ivanjica. In this area hunting tourism has dominant part in the tourist offer of U\u017eice. Hunting Area \u201c\u0160argan\u201d is located near the famous railway “\u0160arganska osmica”, and hunting area “Jelova gora ” is only 12km far from U\u017eice where hunters hunt deers, wild boars and rabbits.<\/p>\n

Religious tourism of U\u017eice offers three interesting monasteries \u2013 the Ra\u010da monastery near Bajina Ba\u0161ta and the Mile\u0161eva monastery in Prijepolje and Uvac monastery at foot of the Zlatibor Mountain, known from the legend, and now it is re-built thanks to the efforts of the National Museum in U\u017eice. Cultural life of the city is enriched with the International film festival of ecological, tourist and sport film, the International Graphic Biennial “Suva igla” in U\u017eice, the Serbian theater festival in U\u017eice as well as cultural and scientific manifestation “Days of the Ra\u010da near Drina” in Bajina Ba\u0161ta and U\u017eice.<\/p>\n
