{"id":582,"date":"2011-12-23T09:11:44","date_gmt":"2011-12-23T09:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/en\/?p=582"},"modified":"2011-12-23T09:11:44","modified_gmt":"2011-12-23T09:11:44","slug":"tourist-event-smederevo%e2%80%99s-autumn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/en\/tourist-event-smederevo%e2%80%99s-autumn\/","title":{"rendered":"Tourist event &#8220;Smederevo\u2019s autumn&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/smederevska-jesen.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1279\" title=\"smederevska-jesen\" src=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/smederevska-jesen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a> &#8220;Smederevo\u2019s autumn&#8221; is a tourist event held every year in September in Smederevo, devoted to fruits of autumn, grapes and vineyards of Smederevo, with the various exhibitions, parades and processions as the carnival of medieval knights and the rich cultural and artistic program held in the famous Smederevo\u2019s Fortress, the squares and streets of this interesting city.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/grb-smedereva.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1280\" title=\"grb-smedereva\" src=\"http:\/\/beautifulserbia.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/grb-smedereva.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>This carnival of medieval knights on horses continues with the passage of carriages with Despot Djuradj Brankovi\u0107 and Despina Jerina, accompanied by court ladies and gentlemen, and following the historical figures who has very important role in history of Smederevo \u2013 Karadjordje, Muharem Dizdar Gu\u0161a, Brandon Nu\u0161i\u0107 &#8230;<br \/>\nFor the first time &#8220;Smederevo\u2019s Autumn&#8221; or exhibition of grapes and wine was held in the 1888 at the city port in Smederevo. It lasted a few days and the whole town was then on his feet, with music and with a short break, turned into traditional event or, as they say in modern language, cultural, economic and tourist event.<br \/>\nThese short breaks were only in war times, and since 1961 its official name is current name &#8220;Smederevo\u2019s autumn&#8221;. Also, since 1971 till 1988 the event wasn\u2019t organized, when it has been renewed by the Tourist Association.<br \/>\nThe event &#8220;Smederevo Autumn&#8221; is a carnival of exhibitionist character and the main goal is to represent annual result of agricultural production as well as rich historical heritage dated from the time of Despot Djuradj Brankovi\u0107 to the guests and the
